To firm and tighten the vagina, the vaginal muscle needs to be strengthened. Just like we lift weights or condition our bodies to get strong, we need to strengthen the vaginal muscle to keep its elasticity and tightness. No more flabby loose muscle!
Kegel exercises are the best exercise to tighten and tone that vaginal muscle, resulting in better and enjoyable sex.
These exercises, named after Dr. Arnold Kegel, involve tightening and relaxing the vaginal muscles in your vagina called the pelvic floor. It’s very simple to do these exercises and can be done anywhere.
The first thing you need to do before starting these exercises is to locate the correct muscle you will be working out. Next time you urinate, try stopping the flow of urine. That muscle you can use to suddenly stop the flow of urine is the muscle you will be working out to strengthen and tighten your vaginal wall. But don’t stop yourself from urinating for more than a moment; just remember the muscle you used. You will practice using that muscle at other times. In fact, you can practice just about anywhere. The car, at your desk at work, while sitting down watching tv, while cooking. No one will know you are doing these exersices because it doesn’t require any movement except contracting and relaxing that vaginal muscle.
After you have found the right muscle the next step is to practice. After removing the urine from your bladder (you don’t want to exercise this muscle on a full bladder), sit stand or lie down. Focus on contracting the muscle(exactly what you did when you successfully stopped your urine flow). Hold it for five seconds, then relax for five seconds. It is best to do this 3 times a day. Each set being ten repetitions. You can gradually work up to ten seconds contracting and ten seconds relaxing.
